SOBA REVIVES THE LINKS BETWEEN MANDINGO SONG

Formed by singer-guitarist Moussa Koita, harmonica player Vincent Bucher and drummer Émile Biayenda, SOBA renews the links between Mandingo song and Mississippi blues. Their album ‘Fiman’ (black) was released end of 2024 and to celebrate their 2025 Summer Tour they have a great new single called ‘Dafra’.

“SUBA” is a hymn to hope, to a new era of compassion and change in a post-pandemic world. The eleven tracks are linked by themes woven throughout the recording and speak of friendship and spiritual connection, of travel and loss, of hope and optimism … and, of course, of a new sunrise.
