Following their debut album released in 2025, L’Antidote (percussionist Bijan Chemirani, cellist Redi Hasa and pianist Rami Khalifé) are back with a new project. The music for “Sound Sketches” was created to accompany the exhibition “Giorgio Armani Privé 2005–2025: Twenty Years of Haute Couture”, which has been running in Milan since May 2025. After delivering the soundtrack to Armani, producer Alberto Fabris reworked the original material with the trio, transforming it into a fully-fledged album whilst remaining faithful to the spirit of the original score.
The record brings together three musicians from Iran, Lebanon and Albania: Bijan Chemirani, Rami Khalifé and Redi Hasa. Their personal histories and cultural roots intertwine in a musical narrative rich with evocative imagery. Lands marked by layered histories and deep cultural resilience become sonic material here, transformed into a dreamlike landscape crossed by a luminous tension charged with hope.
Suspended between chamber music, Middle Eastern influences and contemporary composition, L’Antidote becomes a meeting point between different artistic sensibilities and musical traditions. A project that moves across geographical and cultural boundaries, transforming the diversity of the trio’s origins into a shared creative language capable of conveying an intense, cinematic and universal musical narrative.
